Abstrakt
The need for changes in the social welfare system in Poland has been postulated for many years. Social welfare is one of the instruments of the state’s social policy system, an important link in it, which, in order to achieve the challenges it faces, must un-dertake continuous cooperation with other entities and engage in dialogue in setting strategic directions for the development of social policy, based on a deep analysis of social phenomena and continuous development following social needs. The aim of this article is to show the changes that have been taking place in the social welfare system in recent years, particularly with regard to the implementation of new models. One of these is the separation of social work from administrative proceedings.
