Abstrakt
Relacje z rodzeństwem należą do najdłużej trwających relacji w życiu jednostki. Człowiek posiada zazwyczaj rodzeństwo na długo przed poznaniem partnera, z którym zamierza spędzić życie oraz najczęściej pozostaje w kontaktach z rodzeństwem, przez wiele lat po odejściu rodziców. Istnieje polaryzacja w sposobie postrzegania relacji między rodzeństwem. Są niezwykle złożone i zmienne. Ba-dacze zwracają uwagę na ich specyficzny charakter, który wiąże się z tym, iż trwa ona przez całe życie człowieka. Należy zaznaczyć, że relację tę cechuje zupełnie odmienny charakter niż więź z rodzicami. Relacja z rodzeństwem jest opisywana w literaturze przedmiotu jako ambiwalentna. Przeplatają się tu bowiem stosunki sympatii i antypatii. Dysfunkcjonalność relacji rodzeństwa może doprowadzić do poważnych problemów psychicznych. W trakcie życia relacje te, ulegają znacznym zmianom. Stanowią arenę, na której silne pozytywne cechy współistnieją z równie silnymi negatywnymi. W rozwijającym się technologicznie świecie znacząca część relacji zostaje przeniesiona w przestrzeń wirtualną, online. Komunikacja nawet najbliższych osób, również rodzeństwa, została ucyfrowiona, z jednej strony usprawniając komunikację między nimi, z drugiej, może mnożyć konflikty aż do zaniknięcia relacji. Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę opisu zjawiska komunikacji pomiędzy rodzeństwem typu online, uwzględniając role komunikacji między sobą, pomiędzy rodzeństwem typu online, jak również wskazuje na palące problemy z nich wynikające.
Relationships with siblings are among the longest-lasting relationships in an individual’s life. People usually have siblings long before meeting the partner with whom they intend to spend their lives with, as well as frequently remaining in contact with their siblings even after the parents leave. There are differing views in the way that sibling relationships are perceived, being by nature, extremely complex and changeable. That said, researchers pay attention to the specific nature of the si-bling dynamic, which is correlated to the fact that the relationship lasts throughout the sibling’s lifetime. It should be noted that this relationship is completely different from the relationship with the parents. The relationship with siblings is described in literature as ambivalent. Polarized relations of sympathy and dislike are intertwined with the possibility that a highly dysfunctional sibling relationship can lead to serio-us mental problems; an arena where strong positive qualities coexist with equally strong negative ones. The relationship typically undergoes significant changes over the lifetime of the siblings and in a technologically developing world, a significant part of that relationship has been transferred into the virtual space of the internet. With communication of even the closest people (including siblings) having been digitized, research has shown that it has improved communication between the two people on one hand, but, on the other hand, it can compound conflicts until the relationship disappears entirely. This article is an attempt to describe the phe-nomenon of communication between online siblings, taking into account the role of communication between online siblings and indicates the pertinent problems arising from it.
