| dc.description.abstract | Głównym celem niniejszej pracy jest rozważenie sprawy dotyczącej osoby Luitzena Egbertusa Jana Brouwera (27.02.1881 Overschie – 2.12.1966 Blari‑ cum (Holandia)), zwykle charakteryzowanego jako matematyka i filozofa, tej mianowicie, czy przysługuje mu dodatkowa charakterystyka jako so- lipsysty. Pytanie takie nie jest bezpodstawne, gdyż oparte jest na pewnych spostrzeżeniach obecnych w stosownej literaturze przedmiotu. Z samej struktury tytułowego pytania wiemy, że odpowiedź powinna brzmieć: tak lub nie. Jednak ze względu na niejasny termin solipsyzm sprawa jest złożona. Szkicowo zdradzić możemy, że będziemy się starali uzasadnić, iż Brouwer nie był solipsystą, i w jakim to sensie. | polski |
| dc.description.abstract | The main aim of this work is to consider the case concerning the person of Luitzen Egbertus Jan Brouwer (27.02.1881 Overschie – 2.12.1966 Blaricum (Netherlands)), usually characterised as a mathematician and philosopher, namely whether he has additional characteristics as a solipsist. Such a question is not unfounded as it is based on certain observations present in the relevant literature. From the very structure of the title question, we know that the answer should be: yes or no. However, due to the unclear term solipsism, the matter is complex. We can sketch out that we will try to justify that Brouwer was not a solipsist, and in what sense. | angielski |
