| dc.description.abstract | Celem artykułu jest dyskusja z wybranymi tezami z książki Jana Hartmana „Zmierzch filozofii” oraz wskazanie wybranych, istotnych błędów, jakie ta publikacja zawiera. Są to: niejasne definiowanie kluczowych terminów, brak danych mogących potwierdzać nieraz fantastyczne tezy Hartmana, niewystarczająca znajomość tradycji filozoficznej, którą Hartman krytykuje. Dyskutuję również z prezentowanym przez Hartmana miejscem filozofa i filozofii w społeczeństwie. Następnie przedstawiam alternatywne rozwiązania zauważonych przez Hartmana problemów, z jakimi boryka się dzisiejsza filozofia. Ogólną konkluzją tekstu jest, że faktycznie następuje zmierzch filozofii, ale nie całej, a jedynie tej, którą prezentuje Hartman. | pl |
| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this article is to discuss selected theses from Jan Hartman’s book “Twilight of philosophy” and to point out selected significant errors that this publication contains. These are unclear definitions of key terms, a lack of data that can support Hartman’s sometimes fantastic theses, and insufficient knowledge of the philosophical tradition that Hartman criticizes. I also discuss Hartman’s presentation of the place of the philosopher and philosophy in contemporary society. I then present alternative solutions to Hartman’s noted problems facing philosophy today. The overall conclusion of the text is that there is indeed a twilight of philosophy, but not all of it, only that presented by Hartman. | en |
